Meet the maker

I discovered classical guitar at the age of 13, and it was love at first sight. After a year of teaching myself, I joined a music school, and two years later the Mandolinata, my town’s guitar and mandolin orchestra.
When I learned about the profession of luthier, it was clear right away: it brought together everything I loved – music, creativity, and science.
Following an initial training in Mittenwald (2014–2017), I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Markneukirchen (2017–2021), and then completed a one-year internship in Spain with Daniele Chiesa (2022). Daniele passed on his knowledge and expertise to me, and helped me understand the Spanish tradition, that shaped the guitar in its modern form. Working alongside him, I refined my technique and the design of the instruments I now build.

In 2023, after eight years of training, I was finally ready to embark on my own journey. My motivation is to shape the sound of my creations myself and to infuse them with my artistic touch.

Acknowledgements

Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to meet luthiers who advised me, shared their knowledge, or welcomed me into their workshops. I am grateful to all of them: the teachers at Mittenwald and Markneukirchen, Olivier Fanton d’Andon, Reinhardt GmbH, Bernhard Kresse, and the Christoph Schuetz workshop.
My heartfelt thanks go especially to Daniele Chiesa, Simon Burgun, Jean-Noël Rohé, and Pierre Meyer for their warm welcome and their support along my path.
