My work

Barrage Duchene

During my studies, I built many instruments after Robert Bouchet. Toward the end of my bachelor’s degree, I developed what would become my own bracing system, strongly inspired by Bouchet.

My internship year in Spain with Daniele Chiesa allowed me to understand the roots of the Spanish tradition and his personal vision of the instrument, which today influences how I think about guitars and how I build them.

Today, my guitars are the result of these combined influences. I aim to create instruments with a balanced, powerful, and singing sound. Playing comfort is also a priority in the building process.

You can order a guitar based on my model, or choose to create a custom instrument tailored to your specific needs (different size or neck specifications for example). In any case, the ideal is to try one of my guitars to ensure it suits you. I would be happy to welcome you to the workshop to present one to you (subject to availability). Feel free to contact me to arrange an appointment.

Below you will find pictures of the first instruments made in my workshop, as well as photos of my final project guitar from Markneukirchen.
